About Us

ColloquyMoms was developed by Kat Robertson, owner of For the Love of Chaos @ SenileMOMentia.com. She is a married 27-year-old mom of 5 (4 girls ages 2, 4, 7, and 10, & an 8-year-old son)! Her passions include writing, ministry, blogging, singing, and of course – FAMILY! {… read more …}

The website began as a way to connect moms from many different backgrounds to the readers that relate to them. Our articles cater to natural moms, spiritual moms, moms to be, future moms, adoptive moms, God moms, grandmoms, stepmoms, and every other mom in between! We’re not your average parenting blog, either! Through photos, text, and video we cover family, politics, religion, celebrity news, health and beauty, inspiration, and more… and we reach out by featuring other bloggers and participating in blogging memes and carnivals. No matter who you are or where you come from, you can find a place around here to fit in! We also get a little more interactive over in our cozy discussion forums, which you’re more than welcome to join!

If you’d like to be more involved, ColloquyMoms has several ways for you to contribute!

  1. Scheduled contributors write for our blog weekly on any topic of their choosing. They are featured as a columnist and have a page designated specifically for giving linky love to their other projects and telling a little about who they are. We keep a diverse group of about 5-8 scheduled bloggers on staff at any given time to ensure that we’ve always got fresh content.
  2. Guest contributors write for our blog whenever they feel the urge. Their articles have a “blurb” about them at the foot. We allow many bloggers to guest post for us throughout the month… will you be next? These bloggers aren’t obligated to write on any set time table, but are welcome to submit pieces for us any time.
  3. Ghost contributors. Need I say more? :) These bloggers have something to say – but they don’t want to own it! Not even the STAFF at ColloquyMoms knows who posts articles under the cover of our resident tell-it-how-it-is chick, Anon Y. Mous, because every writer on our team has access AND we also accept guest posts under this account as well so it could be anyone. You see, Anon is kinda schizophrenic in an appealing sort of way. She has multiple personalities, and they are all firey and fierce. Would you like to inhabit the keyboard of Anon? Be our guest!
